Partner with us
Climate Catalyst’s strength comes from being able to bring together diverse voices and unite them to deliver impact. We’re nothing without partnership and would be excited to hear from any organisation wanting to join a collective movement for climate action.
What can you expect from partnering with us?
Climate Catalyst is a behind the scenes organisation. We work with and through our partners to build the collective power of the climate community. We reach beyond the usual suspects and unite voices you might not expect to speak together. Our timelines are short – usually working on a challenge for two to five years – so we have to bring energy and speed to create the foundations for change. This can mean building powerful collaborations and shared strategies, advocating for policy change, engaging the private sector or mobilising investors, communications support or funding.
Our role helps fill important gaps while supporting your strengths and forging relationships with others working on the issues you care about, particularly individuals and organisations you might not have previously considered.

The key things you can expect when working with us include:
- We’ll work with you to co-design strategies that create change.
- We’ll identify new actors to bring into the space, across civil society, business and the financial sector, and forge connections between all the organisations we work with.
- We can support with creative communications and advocacy efforts to make change happen.
- And we’ll continue to share updates on our projects and their impact so we can collectively learn and adapt our work as we go.
- We can provide financial support in the form of grants, particularly for smaller organisations that larger funders often don’t reach.

Decarbonising the steel sector in India and Indonesia
India is the world’s second largest steel producer, and demand across Asia is still climbing, so the sector’s choices will shape global climate progress. Are you working to drive the uptake of greener steel in India or Indonesia? Then we want to hear from you.
In India, our India Green Steel Network brings together more than 75 organisations across civil society, research and industry to unlock this transition. We’re now building similar collective power in Indonesia, supporting partners to push green steel and green public procurement up the political agenda.

Tackling the climate impacts of aviation in Europe
Within the transport sector, aviation is falling behind on climate action as demand for air travel continues to grow, which could lead to a huge rise in climate pollution. This growth will happen just when we need to be reducing these emissions to zero.
Are you working to reduce the climate impact of the aviation sector? Then we want to hear from you.
Building towards a sustainable chemicals sector
The chemicals sector touches almost everything we make, and it’s one of the largest industrial users of oil and gas. Its responsible for around six per cent of global greenhouse gas emissions. Without action, chemicals could drive nearly half of global oil and gas demand by 2050. Are you working to cut the climate impact of chemicals in Europe or India? Then let’s talk.
Tackling a sector this complex takes coordinated action across policy, industry and civil society. We’re building the coalitions to make that happen, starting in Europe and India; where action in major markets can ripple out across global supply chains.

Building movements for cleaner air
Air pollution is the second leading risk factor for death worldwide, causing around 8.1 million deaths a year and cities are where change can happen fastest. We’re partnering with Breathe Cities and the Clean Air Fund to strengthen organisations working towards clean air across 14 major cities. Are you working to build movements or share knowledge for clean air? Then we’d love to hear from you.
Through this one-year learning partnership we’re equipping clean air actors with the tools, connections and capacity to drive policy change in their cities applying our expertise in coalition building, learning and strategy co-design to help the movement grow.
Not working on one of our existing areas of focus? We’d still love to hear from you. We’re always on the lookout for our next focus, so if you think we could help your work, get in touch at info@climatecatalyst.org.
